Pokémon Go is ending its year as usual with a Community Weekend, bringing back Pokémon featured in Community Days from the past year. On Dec. 17 and Dec. 18 players will be able to find previous Community Day Pokémon in the wild, with a high chance to find them shiny.

From 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on both days, the Community Day Pokémon will be spawning in large numbers, but perks like doubled XP and Stardust will only be active from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. in your local time. In addition, specific Pokémon will spawn on each day from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., making it easier to find specific Pokémon you missed.

The shiny rate from 2-5 p.m. will be at the usual Community Day rate for the featured Pokémon, meaning it’s about a 1 in 25 chance to find a shiny. Just keep tapping the Pokémon you’re looking for a shiny of, and it’s bound to turn up. Make sure to use an Incense to boost your spawns as well.

Pokémon from the 2021 Community Day events will also be available in two km eggs and raids to help people catch up even more.

All of the Pokémon from both 2021 and 2022 will be able to learn their special Legacy moves when evolved during the event, with Ursaluna having a specific time slot.

Below, we list out the Timed Research, perks, and schedule for the Community Day Weekend.
